WHAT'S WITH THE FIBRE BOOST BAR TAKEOVER?
What makes Fibre Boost Cold Pressed bars different, whether they're good for you, and the team's favourite snack hacks.
These bars are everywhere at the moment, from gyms to cafes and all over social media. People love that someone finally made a bar that delivers on fibre and flavour without feeling like a chore to eat. At Booty N Buff, the team swears by them. Most of us grab one every single day.
So what makes Fibre Boost Cold Pressed bars different from the rest, and are they actually good for you?
What makes Fibre Boost bars different?
Fibre first. Most protein bars lead with protein. Fibre Boost leads with fibre, and each bar packs a serious serve of it (check the label on your flavour for the exact numbers). Fibre helps keep you fuller for longer and gives you steadier energy instead of a quick sugar hit and crash.
Cold-pressed, not baked. The bars are pressed rather than baked or extruded, so there's far less heat in the process. The result is a soft, chewy bar without the dry, chalky texture most bars suffer from.
Australian made. They're made here, by a team of health professionals who give them to their own families.
What's in them?
- Fibre: soluble fibre, the kind that feeds the good bacteria in your gut.
- Protein: locally sourced, grass-fed protein, with no soy.
- Healthy fats: almond paste, plus nuts and fruit depending on the flavour.
- Sweetness: a touch of stevia instead of piles of added sugar.
What they don't have is the stuff you're trying to avoid: no sneaky sugar syrups and no long list of unnecessary additives.
Are Fibre Boost bars good for you?
For most people, yes. They're a genuinely good snack: high in fibre, a decent hit of protein, and made from ingredients you can actually recognise. That combination helps keep hunger in check between meals, which is why so many people use them when they're trying to lean out.
Two things to keep in mind:
- Go easy at first. If you don't usually eat much fibre, one bar a day is plenty to start with. A big jump in fibre can leave you bloated until your gut adjusts. Drink plenty of water too.
- They're a snack, not a meal. They work best alongside a solid diet, not instead of one.
High fibre, real ingredients, and they actually taste good. That's why we eat one a day.
BNB team snack hacks
Full transparency: we eat at least one of these a day here at BNB. Over time, the team has worked out a few ways to make them even better.
1. Air-fry them
Pop a bar in the air fryer for 3 to 4 minutes at 160°C. It crisps up the outside and adds some crunch without drying out the middle. It's a small step, but it changes the whole vibe. It's more like a warm cookie.
Best for: Spiced Pear & Walnut, Salted Almond, Apple Crumble, Cinnamon Donut, Biscuit and Cookie Dough.
2. Keep them in the fridge
Cold bars firm up and taste more refreshing. Perfect for warmer days, and it really brings out the chocolatey flavours.
Best for: Chocolate Hazelnut, Peanut Choc Caramel, Choc Choc Chip, Lamington, Rocky Road and Choc Raspberry.
These tips come straight from the crew who eat these bars probably a little too much. Give them a go and let us know what you think.
