OCD Nutrition Gates Of Hell Pre-Workout
Product details
On this page
OCD Nutrition Gates of Hell is an extreme-stim pre-workout from an Australian-owned brand. A full serve (2 scoops, 23.5 g) gives you 475 mg of caffeine, 8 g of L-citrulline DL-malate, 6.4 g of beta-alanine and 2 g of L-tyrosine, plus taurine and a full electrolyte blend. One tub has 20 full serves, in 10 flavours. Gates of Hell is for experienced stim users only.
Why choose Gates of Hell pre-workout
Gates of Hell is not for the faint-hearted. This pre-workout hits harder than anything you have ever tried. OCD Nutrition built Gates of Hell for lifters who crave chaos in the gym, the ones who don't just train, they dominate. From the first scoop you feel the fire: raw energy, tunnel-vision focus and skin-tearing pumps that make every rep feel like war.
475 mg of caffeine fires up your central nervous system with ruthless intensity. 8 g of citrulline floods your muscles for maximum pump, and 6.4 g of beta-alanine fuels your endurance so you can outlast everyone else. A focus blend of tyrosine, theobromine and synephrine keeps your mood lifted and your mind razor sharp, while a complete electrolyte blend keeps you locked in through every brutal set.
Gates of Hell is more than a pre-workout. Gates of Hell is a ritual. One scoop and you are no longer in the gym; you are stepping through the Gates of Hell, and only the strong make it out.
What Gates of Hell helps with
- Energy: 475 mg of caffeine per full serve.
- Pumps: 8 g of L-citrulline DL-malate per full serve.
- Endurance: 6.4 g of beta-alanine per full serve.
- Focus and mood: 2 g of L-tyrosine with theobromine and synephrine.
- Hydration: a complete electrolyte blend with sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium.
How Gates of Hell helps your training
Each main ingredient in Gates of Hell has a job in your workout:
- Caffeine (475 mg): caffeine is one of the most studied training aids. Caffeine helps you feel alert and less tired, so you can push harder from your first set.
- L-citrulline DL-malate (8 g): floods your muscles for maximum pump, so your muscles feel full and tight as you train.
- Beta-alanine (6.4 g): fuels your endurance, so you can keep going on high-rep sets and outlast everyone else.
- L-tyrosine, theobromine and synephrine: keep your mood lifted and your mind razor sharp, so you stay focused on each rep.
- Electrolytes: sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium keep you locked in through long, sweaty sessions.

How much caffeine is in Gates of Hell?
A full serve (2 scoops) has 475 mg of caffeine, so one scoop has about 237 mg. 475 mg is more than the 400 mg a day most health guidelines suggest for healthy adults. Gates of Hell also has synephrine and theobromine, which add to the stimulant load. Start low, and never take more than 2 scoops in a day.
How to take Gates of Hell
Mix 2 scoops (23.5 g) with 1.5 L of cold water and drink 15 to 30 minutes before training. If you are new to Gates of Hell, start with half to one scoop to see how you handle the formula. Do not take more than 2 scoops a day. Avoid Gates of Hell late in the day, and skip coffee and energy drinks on the same day.
10 flavours
Berry Bomb, Cola Freeze, Cotton Candy, Creaming Soda, Green Cordial, Icy Lemonade, Mango Pineapple, Sour Candy Grape, Tropical Burst and Watermelon Candy. Not sure which to choose? Gates of Hell is covered by our Love the Taste Guarantee. Try up to 5 serves within 30 days. If you don't love the flavour, swap for another or take store credit.
Price per serve
One tub is $89.95 for 20 full serves, about $4.50 a serve, or about $2.25 at one scoop.
Who should take Gates of Hell?
Gates of Hell is a good fit for experienced lifters who already handle strong pre-workouts and want energy, pumps and focus in one tub. Gates of Hell is not for beginners, anyone sensitive to caffeine, children under 15, or pregnant or nursing women.
Side effects
Most side effects come from the stimulants: jitters, a fast heartbeat, anxiety, an upset stomach or trouble sleeping. The 6.4 g of beta-alanine causes a harmless tingle in the skin. Stop using Gates of Hell if you feel unwell, and talk to your doctor first if you take any medication or have a medical condition, especially a heart condition or high blood pressure.
What to take with Gates of Hell
- Protein after training: Dymatize ISO100 or Rule 1 R1 Whey Blend.
- Creatine: Gates of Hell has no creatine, so add 3 to 5 g a day of Booty N Buff Essential Creatine.
- A non-stim day: Zombie Labs King of Pumpz for pumps on late or rest-from-stims days.
How Gates of Hell compares to other high-stim pre-workouts
Gates of Hell has 475 mg of caffeine in a full serve. That is more than one scoop of Inspired DVST8 BBD (375 mg) or Nexus PER4M 2.0 (250 mg), and less than one scoop of The X Athletics Dialed Carnage (525 mg). Gates of Hell also has bigger pump and endurance doses than either: 8 g of citrulline malate and 6.4 g of beta-alanine, compared with 6 g of citrulline and 3.2 g of beta-alanine in BBD, and 5 g of citrulline and 2.5 g of beta-alanine in a scoop of PER4M 2.0. Gates of Hell adds a full electrolyte blend, but has no creatine, while PER4M 2.0 does.
- OCD Nutrition Gates of Hell: 475 mg caffeine and 8 g citrulline malate per full serve, 20 serves.
- The X Athletics Dialed Carnage: 525 mg of caffeine per scoop.
- Nexus PER4M 2.0: 250 mg caffeine per scoop, with creatine, 50 serves.
- Inspired DVST8 BBD: 375 mg caffeine per scoop, 25 serves.
- Zombie Labs End of Dayz: another Australian high-stim pre-workout.
