What is hydrolysed whey protein?
Hydrolysed whey is whey protein that has already been broken into smaller pieces, called peptides. Your body does not need to do as much work to digest those smaller pieces, so the protein absorbs quickly. Many people also find hydrolysed whey easier on the stomach. Isopept blends hydrolysed whey with whey protein isolate, which is filtered to remove most of the fat, carbs and lactose.
What does ProHydrolase do?
ProHydrolase is a blend of protease enzymes that help break protein down into amino acids your body can use. Isopept also adds lactase, the enzyme that breaks down lactose. Together, the enzymes help with digestion and comfort, so a shake is less likely to leave you bloated.
