Axe & Sledge completely overhauled 212º Thermo’s formula to address two major consumer pain points: harsh taste and fleeting energy. They removed grains of paradise and replaced it with MitoBurn® (L-B-Aminoisobutyric Acid) from NNB Nutrition, preserving the potent fat-loss benefits—such as stimulating the “browning” of white adipose tissue for increased energy expenditure and improved insulin sensitivity—while eliminating the strong, lingering bitterness commonly associated with thermogenic supplements.

In addition, Axe & Sledge incorporated 2.5 grams of betaine anhydrous per serving. While betaine is well-known for enhancing strength and endurance, Axe & Sledge highlighted its fat-loss advantages: it helps preserve lean muscle during caloric deficits and promotes fatty acid oxidation throughout training. This combination ensures that 212º Thermo not only powers workouts but also supports users in retaining muscle as they burn fat.

Addressing user feedback about excessive post-workout sweating, Axe & Sledge rebalanced the thermogenic profile so that undergoing intense training sessions still produces sweat—an indicator of activation—without leaving users drenched afterward when they need to return to work or other daily activities.

Finally, they refined the caffeine blend for smoother, longer-lasting energy. By dialing back the total caffeine content to approximately 200 milligrams and pairing fast-acting caffeine anhydrous with zümXR® extended-release caffeine, Axe & Sledge achieved a more gradual energy curve.
