Gorilla X Labs Citrulline Malate
Product details
On this page
Gorilla X Labs Citrulline Malate is a pure, unflavoured citrulline malate powder for bigger pumps, better blood flow and more endurance in the gym. Each 3 g scoop gives you 3,000 mg of citrulline malate, made from L-citrulline and malic acid in a 2:1 ratio, with nothing else added. The 300 g tub has about 100 serves, and Citrulline Malate is stim-free, so you can stack it with any pre-workout.
Why choose Gorilla X Labs Citrulline Malate
Gorilla X Labs Citrulline Malate is a premium citrulline formula for muscle pumps, blood flow and performance. The formula combines L-citrulline with malic acid to support nitric oxide production and blood flow while you train. Your body turns L-citrulline into L-arginine, which boosts nitric oxide and widens your blood vessels, so more blood, oxygen and nutrients reach your working muscles.
Citrulline Malate is built to promote circulation, muscle fullness and vascularity in hard sessions. The malic acid side supports the Krebs cycle, which helps your body make energy (ATP) and helps clear fatigue by-products like ammonia, so you can push for longer and feel less muscle fatigue. Citrulline Malate is ideal for athletes who train at high intensity and want to support their performance and endurance.
The 300 g tub is unflavoured with 100 serves, which makes Citrulline Malate perfect for stacking with your pre-workout or building your own custom supplement blend. Citrulline Malate is not a stimulant, so you can take it at night or on top of a stim pre-workout without extra caffeine.
What Gorilla X Labs Citrulline Malate helps with
- Muscle pumps: supports blood flow, muscle fullness and vascularity while you train.
- Nitric oxide: L-citrulline helps your body make more nitric oxide.
- Endurance: supports performance in long or high-volume sessions.
- Less fatigue: malic acid supports energy production and helps clear fatigue by-products.
- Custom stacks: unflavoured and stim-free, so Citrulline Malate mixes into any drink.

Figures are from the Gorilla X Labs Citrulline Malate label shown on this page. At a 2:1 ratio, one 3 g scoop has about 2 g of L-citrulline and 1 g of malic acid.
Ingredients
Citrulline malate (100%). Nothing else. The label says Citrulline Malate is processed in the same facility as milk and soy. Gorilla X Labs says Citrulline Malate suits vegans.
What is citrulline malate?
Citrulline malate is the amino acid L-citrulline joined to malic acid, the acid that gives apples their sour taste. L-citrulline is found in watermelon, and your body turns L-citrulline into L-arginine, which then makes nitric oxide. Nitric oxide relaxes and widens your blood vessels, which is why citrulline is one of the most popular ingredients in pump and pre-workout formulas.
Citrulline malate vs L-citrulline
L-citrulline is citrulline on its own. Citrulline malate adds malic acid, usually in a 2:1 ratio, so a 3 g serve of citrulline malate gives you about 2 g of citrulline plus 1 g of malic acid. Pure L-citrulline gives you more citrulline per gram, while citrulline malate adds the malic acid for energy production. Both are used to support nitric oxide and pumps.
How much citrulline malate should you take?
The Gorilla X Labs label serve is 1 scoop (3 g). Most research on citrulline malate and training has used 6 to 8 g, taken about 30 to 60 minutes before exercise. Start with the label serve to see how you feel, and talk to a health professional before you take more than the label directs.
How to take Gorilla X Labs Citrulline Malate
- Serve: mix 1 scoop (3 g) into water or your pre-workout.
- When: about 30 minutes before training.
- Stack: unflavoured, so Citrulline Malate won't change the taste of your pre-workout, intra-workout or BCAAs.
- Rest days: Citrulline Malate works best before workouts, but you can still take a serve on rest days.
Size and price per serve
- 100 serves (300 g): $49.95, about $0.50 a serve.
Who should take Gorilla X Labs Citrulline Malate?
Gorilla X Labs Citrulline Malate is a good fit for lifters chasing a bigger pump, people who do high-volume or high-intensity sessions, people who want a stim-free pump boost, and anyone who likes to build their own pre-workout from single ingredients. Gorilla X Labs Citrulline Malate is a formulated supplementary sports food. If you have a medical condition, talk to your doctor before use.
Side effects and who should avoid Gorilla X Labs Citrulline Malate
Citrulline malate is well tolerated by most people. Large doses can upset some people's stomachs, so start with one scoop and take it with water. Because citrulline can lower blood pressure, talk to your doctor first if you take blood pressure medicine, nitrates or erectile dysfunction medicine. Gorilla X Labs says Citrulline Malate is not recommended for anyone under 18, pregnant or nursing women, or people with a known sensitivity to circulatory or amino acid substances.
