What is a non-stim pre-workout?
A non-stim pre-workout has no caffeine or other stimulants. Instead of a buzz, non-stim formulas use ingredients like citrulline, glycerol and betaine for pumps, hydration and endurance, plus focus ingredients like tyrosine and Alpha-GPC. Many of the active ingredients are the same as in a stim pre-workout, minus the caffeine.
Stim vs non-stim pre-workout
A stim pre-workout gives you a fast energy hit from caffeine, but caffeine can cause jitters, a crash or trouble sleeping, and your body gets used to caffeine over time. A non-stim pre-workout like AMP3D 2.0 suits evening training, people sensitive to caffeine, and anyone who already has a lot of caffeine from coffee. You can also stack a non-stim pre-workout with a small dose of a stim pre-workout to get pumps and energy with less caffeine.
How to take AMP3D 2.0
Mix 1 scoop (19 g) with 500 to 700 ml of water and drink 20 to 30 minutes before your workout. The label also lists a 2-scoop serve (38 g). AMP3D 2.0 has no caffeine, so you can train late without the caffeine keeping you up.
Side effects
AMP3D 2.0 has 1.8 g of beta-alanine per scoop, which can cause a harmless tingling feeling on your skin that fades within an hour or so. Drink plenty of water. Talk to your doctor first if you have a medical condition or take any medication.
