Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information the Booty N Buff mobile app collects, how we use and protect it, and the choices and rights you have. It is written to meet our obligations under the Australian Privacy Principles (Privacy Act 1988) and the privacy requirements of the Apple App Store and Google Play.

The app is provided by Booty N Buff Pty Ltd (“Booty N Buff”, “we”, “us”). If you have any questions, contact us at info@bootynbuff.com.

1. Information we collect

We only collect what we need to run your account and deliver the app’s features.

Account & contact details

  • Name and email address, to create and secure your account and to contact you.
  • Phone number and delivery address, if you provide them for supplement orders and shipping.

Fitness information you give us

  • Your goals, body metrics (such as height, weight and body composition), and preferences.
  • Workouts and meals you log, your streaks, and the training and meal plans you follow.

We use this to personalise your plans, dashboard and reminders.

Apple Health data (Apple devices)

With your permission, the app reads certain data from Apple Health, such as steps, heart rate, sleep and active energy, to display your metrics on your dashboard. This Health data is read on your device to show it to you. We do not upload it to our servers, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not share it. You can turn this access off at any time in your device’s Settings > Privacy & Security > Health.

Purchases

  • Your order and subscription history for supplements and any in-app purchases.
  • We do not store your card details. Payments are processed securely by our payment providers.

Photos

  • A profile photo, only if you choose to add one.

Location

  • Approximate location, only when you allow it, used once to show the local weather on your workout summary. It is used in real time and is not stored by us.

Usage & device information

  • App activity and analytics (for example, which features are used), to understand and improve the app.
  • Device identifiers and a push token, so we can send you notifications and reminders.

We do not use any third-party advertising or cross-app tracking. The app does not ask to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

2. How we use your information

  • To create your account and provide the app’s features.
  • To personalise your training and nutrition plans, dashboard and progress.
  • To send reminders and notifications you’ve enabled (such as supplement top-ups and workout nudges).
  • To process and fulfil supplement orders and subscriptions.
  • To understand how the app is used and to improve it.
  • To send you marketing about our products, where you have consented (see section 4).
  • To provide support, keep the app secure, and meet our legal obligations.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run the app and process data on our behalf, as needed to provide the service and under their own security and privacy commitments. We may also disclose information where required by law.

4. Marketing

We only send you marketing communications where you have opted in, for example by ticking the marketing consent box at checkout. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email, or by contacting us at info@bootynbuff.com. You’ll still receive essential service messages (such as order confirmations and security notices).

5. Keeping and deleting your data

You can delete your account and personal data at any time, in the app under Settings > Delete Account, or by following the steps at bootynbuff.com/pages/account-deletion. When you delete your account, we remove your profile and app data. We may retain limited order and payment records where the law requires us to (for example, tax and accounting obligations), after which they are deleted or de-identified.

6. Security

Your data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS), and we use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your information and to respond promptly to any issues.

7. Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles you can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, and you can ask us to delete it. To make a request, contact info@bootynbuff.com. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

8. Children

Booty N Buff is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we’ll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email.
